Douglas Chandler Speaks About Attorney Ethics and Professional Liability to Houston County Alabama Bar Association

In Firm Announcements, Georgia State Bar Grievances, Legal Malpractice

On August 27, 2014, Douglas Chandler of Chandler Law was a presenter at a CLE seminar to 55 members of the Houston County Bar Association at the Dothan Country Club in Dothan AL. The seminar, entitled Risk Management, Legal Ethics and Professional Liability, covered ways that attorneys can improve internal and client communications, manage and minimize risk, and prevent issues from escalating into Bar Complaints or malpractice claims.

“This was a very educational seminar, well-received by our members,” commented William L. Lee, IV, 2014 President of the Houston County Bar Association. “The group appreciated all of the practical information that we can immediately put to use in our firms.”

The CLE seminar was recently expanded to include a discussion about online reputation management, with tips for monitoring, protecting, and controlling internet communications. Seminar attendees earned 1 hour of general CLE credit and 1 hour of Ethics credit.

Douglas Chandler regularly speaks on the topics of legal ethics, professional liability, and risk management. He recently published a white paper to help attorneys deal with Georgia State Bar disciplinary matters.
