Douglas Chander Selected as 2012 Georgia Legal Elite Attorney by His Peers
State Bar discipline, legal malpractice and serious personal injury attorney receives top honor from Georgia Trend Magazine.
Atlanta, GA, January 18, 2013 – Douglas Chandler, founder of the Atlanta law firm Chandler Law, LLC, was recognized as one of Georgia’s 2012 Legal Elite attorneys by Georgia Trend Magazine. This follows Chandler’s certification as a legal malpractice specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys earlier last year. Chandler, who has practiced law in Georgia for more than 12 years, takes a straightforward and personal approach to a typically impersonal process. “Setting realistic expectations is my primary goal,” said Chandler. “While trial is always an option, there are often faster and more cost-effective ways to resolve a client’s issues. I think clients, as well as the Georgia courts and State Bar, appreciate that approach.
Chandler, Co-Founder and Executive Committee Member of the State Bar of Georgia Professional Liability Section, often speaks to Georgia attorneys at Bar Association and group mentoring sessions on the topic of Risk Management, Ethics and Professional Liability. He publishes a blog, teaches a continuing legal education seminar, and recently wrote a white paper on this topic. Chandler also leads the LinkedIn group Attorney Ethics and Professional Liability.
Raised in LaFayette, GA, Chandler was a 1992 graduate of Auburn University and a 1999 graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.
