Professional Liability Section – Not Your Typical CLE
On March 30, 2017, Douglas Chandler of Chandler Law will once again co-chair the Professional Liability Section of the State Bar of Georgia’s “Not Your Typical CLE” presentation. Also co-chairing are Tom Curvin and Betsy Hodges, of Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, and Brian Smith of The Smith Law Practice.
Topics to be covered include Malpractice Insurance Q&A; a Professionalism Panel by several sitting judges (and a justice) from Fulton County, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court; and a mock trial presentation with audience participation and active deliberations and discussion. Attendees will receive CLE credit (including ethics and professionalism hours) and lunch. The CLE program will be held at the State Bar of Georgia building, located in downtown Atlanta at 104 Marietta St. NW, Suite 100, Atlanta, GA 30303-2743. Registration begins at 7:45, and the program begins at 8:30 and will adjourn about 4:00.
